Emma STER, bred by the Goslingawei family in Holland, was imported while in foal with Hinne 427 during the year 2007. Emma is a rare find because Jasper is NOW PREFERENT! and Oege is already a very important Preferent stallion in Holland. Jasper is known for his great movement with his high "sport" status and is a three time World Champion in Holland, its unfortunate we can't breed to him here in the US. Oege Preferent is known as the hair man and has had many great offspring. Mare Stam 18 has produced the approved stallion Gouke 255. This Stam line has an interesting family line with the well known horses from the Bouma family in Holland. Here is what the Dutch Judges' had to say in a published article in a Dutch newspaper about Emma:"Right after the 1st premie ster mare was the mare, Emma. She was 2nd place in her group at the keuring. Nice, long lined mare. She makes herself very beautiful in movement. She has a very good walk. She has a lot of room and tact in her trot--good length of stride."
Emma is a proven producer and it shows at the Keurings. Emma's 2007 Hinne colt, Zander fan Camelot, received a Ster and Champion of the day at his Keuring, he was also asked to go to the next level of stallion approval! He is owned by Scenic View Farm who will now start the stallion process. Her Fridse filly, Bettina fan Camelot, received Ster Champion mare and Champion of the day!; and her 2009 Heinse colt, Filippus fan Camelot, received 1st premie and Reserve Champion colt; and he is now co-owned with Scenic View Farm. And her new Sipke filly, Jemma fan Camelot received 2nd pre Champion filly and Reserve Champion of the day; she is also co-owned with Scenic View Farm. Emma is a strong producer and she continues to show why I have so much confidence in this stam line.
Emma is confirmed in foal to Doaitsen for May 2012.
