Meet Bellatrix

Bellatrix is a full blooded Holsteiner, but was registered and branded as an Oldenburg in 2012. Her Dam, Pavlova, is line bred on the LadyKiller side (Stam 4220) by the Hamacher family. This is an important Stam line, as her grand-dam, Fulde, produced the stallion Robinhood, who performed at USCTA Training level. Fulde, bred by Philip Hoffman, was a world cup international driving horse and was known as The Top Producer of her time. Breeders fought for her offspring.

On the Sire side, she is by Ramiros, a 17.1 hand, full blooded Holsteiner but approved Oldenburg stallion. Ramiros is a great dressage horse and has lots of suspension in his movement. He is by Rantares, the 2007 USEF #1 Leading Dressage Sire in the USA. He placed at Pan Am selection trials and his show record at the FEI dressage met the requirements of the ISR/OLD performance testing for stallions. His show ring performance was accomplished while breeding a full book of mares. At age 17, Olympic medalist Steffen Peters said of Rantares, “He would still be in the top five horses competing at St. Georges and Intermediare I in the USA, now.” He passes on his versatility and soundness to his offspring.
