Meet Toraine

Tory’s dam, Ghilaine Ster, was a successful FEI PSG mare. Imported from Holland as a young mare and has proven herself not only as a top producing broodmare but also in the show ring as an international competitor at the Prix St George level. Tory’s sire is a top dressage sire known worldwide who has produced 8 approved stallions; such as Rousseau and Negro who have been extremely successful breeding and dressage stallions. His offspring excel in sport and at the keurings. Uniform, her grand-sire, has produced olympic competitors, and is also one of the leading dressage sires in Holland.

Tory is a very expressive mare with a beautiful head and a lot of bone. A powerful mover with very nice use of hind legs as she places them well under herself. Her canter is one of her best gaits with nice lift, balance, and uphill strides. Not only does Tory know dressage but she also drives and jumps!

Both of her foals are now in the hands of top dressage riders, and we look forward to watching them move up the levels.
